I'm a habitual line crosser that believes everything happens for a reason, but life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances, you just have to live life to the fullest. Laugh as much as you can, spend all your money, tell someone what they mean to you, tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, love the ones who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, pig out, smile until your face hurts, be a flirt, stay up late and fall asleep watching the sun come up, don't be aftraid to take chances or fall in love . . . and most of all live in the moment, If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. No one said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

end rape in Congo

Did you know that more than 200,000 women and girls have been raped in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) during the past 12 years? I was shocked and saddened to learn that astonishing statistic.

The good news is that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is taking a stand against this type of violence and making its prevention and assistance to survivors a priority in U.S. foreign policy.

But there is still much work to be done. That's why I joined with CARE to e-mail Secretary Clinton and asked her to demonstrate continued leadership in pushing for stronger protections to prevent women and girls around the world from becoming victims of sexual violence.

We need to urge Secretary Clinton to remain steadfast in ensuring U.S. diplomatic attention and foreign assistance resources are focused on putting an end to the suffering of women and girls in conflict-affected places like the DRC.

Please join me in sending a message Secretary Clinton today.

  1. Many men are also using Viagra UK without medical supervision. There is a particular problem with teenage boys who are stealing Viagra online from their parents. They have no idea how much dosage is safe and are unaware of the potential side effects. Viagra pills was never designed to be a recreational drug.
